As a metalsmith and studio art jeweler, I’ve always approached the craft of jewelry design as a curious and challenging process.
Throughout my career, I’ve embraced traditional metalsmithing techniques such as hollow forming and fabrication. I typically work in sterling silver and 18k gold, and my pieces feature elaborately hand-worked surface textures, combined with alternative materials and semi-precious stones.
Organic, industrial, and utilitarian forms have been constant design influences throughout my life. My love of traditional techniques, fused with an exploration of the interplay between texture/contrast and form/movement, have informed my aesthetic, evoking forms that conjure biological, geological, and technological motifs.
